If you are into anime and you consider yourself a creative person, you've likely thought about drawing anime characters yourself and maybe even have taken a shot at it. If you aren't a professional, you'll notice how hard it can be to draw anime characters all from memory. This is why it is always a good idea to use reference poses from which you can not only draw inspiration but also as a way to guide yourself in drawing the character. This doesn't mean, however, that you should simply trace these images, as that is not the best way to learn to draw them. Try to view these reference poses as a skeleton which you should try to recreate and fill in with your own ideas.
Below, I've created a list of 35 anime reference poses that you can use as a reference for your drawings. Simply pick one you like or, if you like to challenge yourself, pick a random one and try to use it as a reference for your drawing. If you want to edit or create your own unique pose, simply click on the image and you'll be able to edit the 3D reference model yourself. You can use the basic model or switch to one of the anime models in the settings panel on the right-hand side or by going to setpose.com/anime
